On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you and your family to St Chad’s C.E. (C) Primary School.
‘Growing hearts and minds’
Our vision respects what was written many years ago in the original trust deed transcription of 1871:
‘The said premises and buildings thereon erected or to be erected to be for ever hereafter appropriated and used for a school for the education of children and adults or children only of the labouring, manufacturing and of other poorer classes in the district of Chesterton and for no other purposes.’
At St Chad’s we truly believe that it takes a whole community to raise a child. Just as the vine and branches grow ripe fruit, we provide our children with a strong sense of community, Christian values rooted in Bible teachings, and a bespoke curriculum pertinent to our setting. Growing both hearts and minds, we prepare our children for an ever-changing world.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit…”-
John 15:5
Community, Hope, Kindness, Forgiveness
We pride ourselves on our high standards of academic achievement as well as being able to offer a holistic approach to learning across a broad and balanced bespoke curriculum.
